Navigating Alzheimer’s Support
Memory Maker is a conceptual mobile application designed with the aim of supporting individuals facing the challenges of Alzheimer's disease. Its primary goal is to enhance the quality of life for both patients and caregivers by introducing tools and features tuned to the specific needs brought about by this condition.

Challenge.
The aim of this application is to assist in managing the various challenges associated with the disease.
Client Goals.
Empower users to navigate the disease with more confidence, independence, and a stronger support network.
Reduce some of the stress and uncertainty that Alzheimer’s brings into the lives of patients and their families.
Leverage technology to bridge some of the gaps in current care structures, provide emotional support, and stimulate cognitive functions.
Access to a library of articles, videos, and guidelines on Alzheimer’s management, latest research findings, and caregiver support.
The Process/Solution.
Two separate interfaces were created one for patients and one for their caregivers. The use of high-contrast visual design, bright colors and large text was crucial. A portal for emotional support with guided meditations and calming music was included as well as customizable schedules, and cognitive games.
1. Research
Conducting research to understand the needs around Alzheimer’s patients thus creating user personas
2. Ideation and Concept Development
Evaluating ideas, creating wireframes and visual concept.
3. Design and Prototyping
Developing high-fidelity designs including detailed visuals, interactions, and transitions.
4. Usability testing and iteration
Conducting usability tests to identify any issues or areas of improvement.
The Result.
Memory Maker provides a rich palette of features, it harnesses the power of interactive media to stimulate cognitive functions and emotional connections, making it a valuable tool in the journey of memory care.
