The Clove Club
Enhancing visual flair and user interaction through restaurant website redesign
The Clove Club is a relaxed fine dining restaurant set in the historic rooms of the Grade II-listed shore ditch town hall, London. Led by chef-Patron Isaac Mchale, they serve a seasonal tasting menu featuring modern, elegant dishes rooted in technique but stripped back to their essential elements.
They place a great emphasis on sourcing the best produce the British isles has to offer, showcased in dishes inspired by Isaac’s culinary memories and travels.

Design an online presence that embodies an aesthetic that mirrors the restaurant’s ambience - inviting, fresh, and modern.

Adopt a clean, modern design with crisp visuals and an appealing color scheme.
Clearly communicate what sets the restaurant apart from competitors.
Craft an inviting and compelling “About Us” section.
Implement an efficient, user friendly online reservation system.
The Process/Solution.
Chose to create a minimalist design for a fresh look, using high-resolution images along with appealing visuals, and including an engaging “About Us” page.
1. Evaluate Current Website
Analyzed the existing website to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.
2. Research and inspiration
Looked into current trends in web design, especially within the restaurant industry.
3. Wireframes and Prototypes
Created wireframes and prototypes to visualize the new look and feel.
4. Develop Interactive Elements
Included engaging elements such as animations, hover effects, and videos to bring the website to life
